How do you change JUST the glass on an exterior side view mirror?

My car was hit in a a hit and run and smashed the mirror on the passenger side of my car. Only the glass is broken, the rest of the side view mirror is still in tact. How do I change the glass only? The dealership wants to charge me $85.00 plus the cost of the glass. There’s got to be an easier and cheaper way! Please help!!!!

Buy a replacement mirror at an auto parts store (around $13).
Clean off old mirror (wear gloves)
